The IRS released a press release regarding making property tax payments in 2017 for 2018 taxes. Click here to see the press release. IRS Press Release

Based on the new tax law, here are some things to think about before December 31st:

It may be beneficial to pay a state income tax estimate or your property taxes before the end of the year.
It may be beneficial to make an additional cash or non-cash donation before the end of the year.
It may be beneficial to pay unreimbursable employee expenses before the end of the year.

Your benefit from these items will depend on your particular tax situation, so please contact your tax preparer for more information.
